One of Joey's favorite things was being part of Fantasy Roto leagues.
For the sixth football season in a row, we put 12 teams together in a
league named the Joe Doyle Memorial League VI and once again agreed to
also become the official sponsor of JoeyDoyle.com. Each week, standings
will be updated here and a new recap will appear. For a little more amusement,
we added Team Logos again this year.

| Making their 2nd title appearance in a row, TDunn/BShaw
blew out Sutter, who had a pathetic total of just 95 points... TDunn/BShaw
become the first ever repeat champions in the greatest roto league
in the world... BShaw actually has now had a GM piece of 3 of the
6 championships- Pete D let BShaw loose after winning the 2003 Championship
thinking he was just dead wood- I think Pete would give up all 90
of his little league homeruns to have Bob back and another shot
at the title... Although his championship performance was weak,
Sutter showed that he deserved to be in this league and we look
forward to his downfall next year... If BDunn could have open his
eyes enough in the early part of the season, he may actually have
a shot at finishing first... Paturzo finished as the Points Leader
finally quieting the rumors that he was nothing without Brother
Phil... The biggest surprise was Lucca/Rugg, a longtime doormat
of this league (like Gator still is), they found a way to finish
4th and make it into the semi-finals... DiStefano had one of the
greatest roto turnarounds after making some crafty trades and going
on a tear the last half of the season... Grande/Bruno did an OK
job in their first year without Tiki- the whispering grew softer
with each Brandon Jacobs highlight though... Olsen started out ok,
but then went into a downward spiral- at least there was no Domanick
Davis on his team, but we will see what injured star next year's
draft will bring him... Pherson had a good start but didn't have
CMac there at the end to hand him his best players to make a run
at the championship... In a great disappointment, Sorrentino had
his worst roto season in any sport ever!- everyone loved it!!!...
Gator finished in 2nd to last, yet another poor showing by him-
maybe now he understands why the bride should handle the flower
arrangements and he should focus on football!.... And this year's
cellar dwellar was Bavaro/Gabe- it hurts to see such nice gentlemen
scraping up the dirt in the 'ol cellar!... Thank to all GM's for
a great season!!! See you next year (I'm sure you will all look
blurry!)
