Fantasy Roto

One of Joey's favorite things was being part of Fantasy Roto leagues. For the 8th football season in a row, we put 12 teams together in a league named the Joe Doyle Memorial League VII and once again agreed to also become the official sponsor of JoeyDoyle.com. Each week, standings will be updated here. For a little more amusement, we added Team Logos again this year.
****This year the teams will also have to beat the league average score each week, so there are 2 total wins/losses for each week.

Season Recap

UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Gator, the perennial doormat of this league, won his first championship of the Joe Doyle Memorial League!!! After hovering around the top of the standings all year, Gator's lucky pick of Chris Johnson led him to the trophy- he celebrated his victory by inviting over 4 friends and splitting a 6 pack of Corona nips!... Big Bav/Gabe snuck in to the playoffs by grabbing the last spot, but then went on to knock off Sutter and then completely blew out Grande/Bruno in the semi's before bowing out to Gator in the Finals... Gator/Bruno held the top spot in the standings virtually all year after getting a knowledge boost from the draft day french onion soup...No shock at the bottom of the standings with Olsen and Lucca/Rugg- annual donations!... and nothing but pure enjoyment seeing Sorrentino not make the playoffs and actually in the bottom 2 or 3 for most of the year... Pete D started off slow but managed to sneak in the playoffs by using youth soccer fundamentals while BDunn started off slow as usual while shaking out the Summer tremors before grabbing the 4th spot... TDunn/BShaw continue to decline after winning back to back championships 2 years ago... Paturzo's horrible trades took him from 4th place down to 10th and he is just looking forward to abusing everyone at next year's draft... Sutter's early playoff exit hopefully got the idea out of his head that he is a great roto GM... Pherson finsihed up in 7th and managed not to hand Jimmy his whole roster this year... thanks again to everyone in the league for chipping in to sponsor joeydoyle.com!!
