Joe,
Happy Birthday- you are still thought of all the time, that will never change.
I could imagine all the emails that would go on with the whole Yankee infusion with the Dodgers or the Favre retirement.
Happy Birthday

Joey - another birthday for you to party up there and for us to think about you down here. I never posted to you about Favre and I wonder if you've convinced yourself on the Aaron Rodgers Era yet. But you have Torre and the Dodgers to look for#@*%!d to this year - they SHOULD be good. Anyway, you know we all miss you and Joseph is getting big enough to soon learn about what a great guy you were. It's something we'll make sure to impart on him. Happy Birthday and party like the 86 Mets' fans!

BREAKING NEWS: Brett Favre To Retire
Figure you would've been all over this one....didn't see it coming!
Guess the NFC title game had a bigger impact on him than some of us thought. Would you blame the Giants?
I always stop to think of Joe, but even moreso when Baseball season's around the corner. Hope all is well with the Doyle family.

Packers Vs Giants. Can only imagine what your basement would of been like. Maybe you would of even banned everyone and watched it alone. Anyway should be a great game and hopefully we can get a nice crew together to watch it.
Just to let you know I think this would of been the first year you wouldn't of drafted favre in fantasy and would of been cursing yourself all year.
Good luck guy

What topic would JD have devoted more time to yesterday?
The upcoming Packers-Giants matchup amidst the frozen tundra....
or --
The accusations that Mary J. Blige, 50, and Timbaland are all juicebags?
Good luck this Sunday, big man. Gonna be a fun one.

Well, look what we have here - the Packers vs the Giants in the NFC Championship. You really have no idea what I'd give to watch this game with you and your father in the same room. I can only imagine the taunts and the trash talk you'd be giving him this week. I'm downright giddy for this game and I know you are too. Something tells me that there is no team in the world that you'd want to beat more than the Patriots - with maybe the Giants second! I hope you loved the Packers/Seahawks game in the blizzard, with Favre throwing snowballs at Driver after a TD. Have some fun! I know how hard you're rooting so we can't lose, whether the Giants or Packers win. Enjoy it, pal. It's a great time.

54 days 14 hrs 58 min 1 sec til Pitchers and Catchers report for Spring Training.
Your Dodgers better not throw a monkey wrench into New York's plans for Johan Santana -- I could actually see them swooping in and making an offer.
Happy New Year, pal. All my best to the Doyle Family in 2008.

I could only imagine the baseball talk that would be going on inside the Hawk's Nest today.
TDunn working on his Wonder Word puzzle in The Post.
J.D. giving us the update that Joe Torre and Don Mattingly could potentially be sporting Dodger Blue?
So far we've seen 3 different suspects snuff out the "Pinstripe Pride" angle over the last 24 hours. Maybe they'll take A-Rod with them....lol
Hopefully, this is your way of getting a good laugh in at the Yankees expense.

Sunday was great, and as always so many faces from the good old days. Really is like no time has passed and I almost expect to see you right next to some of these characters.
I know you were with us and always are.. you must be laughing up there at the Yankees right now, but you know me- I'm not one of these fairweather fans. But I do appreciate that you let them win on Sunday so that we arent completely pathetic like some other teams.
As always I miss you very much and know that you are watching over all of us.
Love always and In All Ways,
Mariss

Hey Joey,
You packed in another bar, pal. Everyone from all stages of your life showed up- it was a GREAT TIME.
Its amazing and a great tribute to you that so many people show up and want to be part of a special day for a great guy.
After seeing some of the antics that went on and knowing everyone is ok- we are sure you are watching over us all.

I just wanted to send out a thank you to everyone that made this year the best tribute celebration yet. I wish that everyone in the world could have the amazing friends my brother did. If you bet the Packers for him last night he is sending a message to stop gambling. The family owes everyone that attends a great deal of gratitude. Thank you

Hey Joe,
Think about you often, especially when I run into Pete and the gang. And of course when football season comes around. Do me a favor have the Pack rain down a beating on Eli and the G-men this week and clear the way for my Boys this year.
Miss you pal.

Joe,
Thinking of you and your family today. I work across the street from the WTC and I think of you often as I walk to work. We werent close friends in high school but the times we did hang out you were always such a sweet guy. The last time i saw you was in DJais in the summer of 2001 - we had a drink at the bar together :) I am sure your family knows this already, but they raised a wonderful son and this site is proof of that. I know that no amount of time will ever heal their loss, so always remember to send them signs to let them know you are still around them. Heaven got another angel when you left this Earth. Please say hello to my brother for me! :)

JD,
I know your father through the 9-11 network and I have heard many stories about you from your numerous friends. You have left a very amazing legacy behind along with a wonderful family.
I hope you have met and seen my best friend and brother in law Steven Hagis up there because he enjoyed life like you did although his love of sports was basketball and baseball
May you always be in Gods Grace and may he give everyone who knows you the peace and strength to live everyday as you did. May God continue to bless your family on this tough day and always
In my prayers
Michael

Joe,
6 years has come and gone and I still cant believe it. I think it will always be like yesterday to us. The weather is terrible today and I think thats how it should be.
The funniest things will happen and I think of you. I even somehow wonder if you make them happen. You are very much present in my life and I am sure you get a kick out of all that goes on down here. You have cultivated so many friendships that, like your legacy, will last forever. I miss you, and your family is always in my thoughts and in my prayers.
Love Always and In All Ways,
Mariss

What'ss up Joe,
Can't believe that its been six years. Feels like yesterday when we came back from the shore on Sept 9th to watch football in your basement. Good times. Til this day you still have the curse on the Yankees and I'm sure your screaming at Pettite's cutter every time he pitches. How about a Dodger/Yankees world series?? Thanks for looking over us!! Miss you, guy!
